Waterford City and County Resevoirs

Waterford City and County Trout Anglers Association welcomes fly fishermen to their trout fisheries at Carrigavantry (Fenor) and Knockaderry (Kilmeadan).

Due to the demand for winter fishing, Knockaderry and Carrigavantry are open to fly fishing for the month of January. Due to the increasing use of catch and release,both lakes have a large stock of quality trout.

Both lakes are regularly stocked with one kilo trout, and there is a generous four fish bag limit. Life jackets are compulsory but not provided. Electric engines are allowed.
